Jason Bruges Studio won the competition for the regeneration of Port Talbot Sea Front. In two separate sites, blossoming groves of wind sculptures would have been planted, rising from bases formed by the wind. Clusters of these Wind Flowers would reach upwards, catching the wind as it plays across the beach.
Their colour would vary according to the wind, with beautiful year round blossoming. Powered and controlled by the wind, each Wind Flower would operate autonomously under its own power generated by the wind.
