REVIVAL

Client
Veuve Clicquot
Location
Goodwood
Year
2008

Jason Bruges Studio’s Applause made its third stop of the Season at the Goodwood Revival. Situated next to the Veuve Clicquot bar, the piece provided a performance of flash photography choreographed by guests in period dress. The touring installation redressed for the Revival, inspired by the contextual aesthetic of 1950s.
The studio draws its inspiration from the crowds of photographers in films such as Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. Their dazzling flash lamps represent the new notion of celebrity and embody the filmic glamour of the period.
A wave of flashes will applaud guests, who will be photographed against a vintage backdrop chosen from Goodwood’s image archives.
