Jason Bruges Studio created an electronic, animated interactive garden in the form of raised flowerbeds containing hundreds of energy efficient light bulbs, also known as Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs). The installation glowed with gently undulating light that rippled across its surface and responded to people as they approached the work.
The installation was part of Greenpeace’s campaign to champion efficient lighting and replace incandescent light bulbs. It showcased the range and versatility of the energy efficient bulbs now available, dispelling many of the negative myths often used as an excuse for not using this efficient technology.
