Jason Bruges Studio are looking for a part-time system administrator to rationalise and improve their in-house computer systems.

We make interactive artworks for a variety of different clients, so having a reliable IT infrastructure is a key part of that.

You’ll be able to suggest and implement improvements to our current system, help us plan for the future then lead implementation of new hardware, networking and software systems.
You’re probably a systems administrator at a small to medium sized company that’s after a new challenge. Perhaps you’d like to bring more open source tools into use or would relish the challenge of shaping your own system?
Your role will be systems administrator, but we want you to get systems in place that are as automated as possible and low maintenance. We currently use Active Directory, OS X Server and Spiceworks to help keep on top of things, and you’ll help us make them work better for us. After that, there’s an opportunity for you to expand your role to take on the challenge of increasing the quality, innovation, availability and sheer magic of our next generation of projects through advanced computing systems.

Applicants for the role will need most of these skills to be considered plus at least 3 years experience. We use Mac, Windows and Linux, and the ideal candidate will have good experience administering all three.
Only applicants with existing visas and permits to work in the UK can be considered.
Salary is commensurate with experience and we are offering the job as a flexible hours part-time position, with the opportunity to increase your hours as the role develops.

If you’re keen to join a young, sociable and growing design company, please send your CV and portfolio (no more than 5MB) to:
